Player stats are now set to update automatically twice a day, once at 12noon, and once at 12 midnight. I have noticed a few players popping in & playing during the day.  So I figure I would automate the stats updates in order to log any players playing at "off Peak" hours.

Boy, when steam likes to screw up they like to screw up big huh?  After running a server update on the Killbox Server two days ago, it be came apparent something was amiss when users where complaining that they couldn't connect.  If you where getting the error "Unable to verify server encryption key" or something similar, don't worry, the issue has been resolved.

If you have a server, and are having the same problem, you need to grab the file "steamclient_i486.so" from a WORKING server and replace it in the root bin folder, where ever your game is installed. If you are having problems figuring this out, let me know I will help.  From what I understand, this is only happening on linux based servers.

While in the process of changing the layout for the website,  I accidentally erased the user database from the forums.  I apologize and invite everyone to re-register again.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Considering that we had 3 years worth of log files on our game servers (aprox. 215,092 files), all server log files before May 1, 2010 have been clean from the servers.  This may or may not help with server performance, but hell, it can't hurt to get rid of them. :)

Starting today, a new server is available for your gaming pleasure!  The STKClan KillBox server has nothing but killbox maps, and it is setup for low gravity.  Being that this is a newly running server, if you happen to notice something amiss, or not working correctly, please inform the server admins
